What do I do if Pinnacle Studio 15 doesn t give me an option to import form DV?

I need to put footage from my DV tape into Pinnacle Studio 15. My camcorder is hooked up to the computer via a Pinnacle Studio Moviebox. This worked fine before, but recently the button for importing from DV has disappeared. What do I do to get that button back?

i use a similar setup but with an older Pinnacle capture box for DV. unplug the moviebox and reinsert USB, you should hear the new device chime from Windows. if that doesn't work, re-start the computer. remember you can only capture DV using Pinnacle Studio program. Other video editors won't recognize the moviebox DV capture function.

It's been a long time since I used Studio, but tech support's answer to everything was reinstall the software.
