.mov files are Quicktime files (usually).. you need to download Quicktime from Apple and install it ... go here:

http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/

When you upload a video to Facebook or YouTube, they concert it from Quicktime (or whatever) to a web format like Flash video... that's why you can see these once you put them online.

You need to get quicktime. It is free and will play the files with no problem.

A great app for burning the .mov files to DVD is StashSpace.Com Very easy to do, you just import the clips and they are automatically added as scenes to your movie.

Go to http://www.stashspace.com to get started or learn more. They support the .mov format as well so you may not need quicktime if you use them. Good Luck!

Quicktime will play those files, it's a free download.

Get better editing software and avoid the windows movie maker hassles. I use pinnacle studio 11 ultimate but there are many comparable programs.
