The Best format of video to import into Pinnacle Studio 11 plus ?

Hi guys, i can't import a video in Pinnacle studio 11 plus, because it says something like,,,the
"whatever video. could not be opened",,WHY?? i have tried a lot of format of video and it wont work, so i convert this format to wmv and it works without sounds. pinnacle
studio..does anyone know what
do i need to do? because i gave
up in trying.
Does anyone know the best format of video for pinnacle 11 ?? i just dont understand??...

I have used a Pinnacle Studio product for years, Studio 11 among them. Everything that Studio imports from my 3 MiniDv tape camcorders is in .AVI format. That works well across and through the entire edit and make movie process

Pinnacle studio 11 does not support all file formats and HD is one of them, If you will upgrade your pinnacle 11 to pinnacle 14hd, you will avoid these problems, it was 40.00, but it sure has saved me a bunch of headaches. I had 11 ultimate so I can still use the extras with 14hd. Everyone of my camera's videos will work with 14, I have 1 HD camcorder 3 p&s cameras. a minidv and a flash drive camcorder.



Of course you can always convert all of videos to work in 11 but what a pain in the booty!
