I try to watch videos on QuickTime Player from a better version, but whenever I open the video, it always says "The document cant be opened. The movie isnt in a format that QuickTime Player understands." What can I do to watch the videos?

You did not tell us where the video came from, what the format or video type is that you're trying to open in QuickTime or anything about your computer.
If QuickTime does not do what you want, use a different media player - like VLC player from www.videoLAN.org.
This is not much different from the silly error messages i get from Windows Media Player on certain video files...

Hey! I know that feeling, I used to have the same problem but with Windows Media Player, it often got choppy or unsynchronized video and sound, or it popped up annoying messages saying that the file format wasn’t allowed. I tried other video player but the one that worked the best for me was GOM Player because even if it couldn’t play a very rare video format, it opened the Codec Finder thingy and it tells me what Codec was missing and it automatically finds them for me. So I haven’t got video files format issues anymore.

I hope it solves your problem too! Good luck!

Weird that it says that this document can't be opened if it's referring to a video. Try VLC player.
