Greetings,

I just recently bought myself a Xiaomi Yi action camera. Some would call it the "GoPro Killer". My question is, what's the duration of the battery life for the camera? I'm about to record some of my performances soon and I don't want it to die mid-show.

Details:
Camera: Xiaomi Yi
Firmware: 1.2.13
Battery: 3.7V 1010mAh Li-ion
Preferred recording format: 1080p / 60FPS

Also, what's the difference between 30FPS and 60FPS if I do not use to wish slow-mo effects on editing later on? Does it affect the sharpness, colour, blurry movements or so on.

For these GoPro knockoff cameras, battery life is usually about 80 minutes, depending on how much you use the LCD screen.

60fps will give you a bit more smoothness in moving action video, but larger file sizes.

Have a look at the link - the bit about using an external battery is particularly interesting.

All of that information should be at the manufacturer's web site or in the camera's manual. GoPro provides it. If the information you seek is not provided by the manufacturer , expect the same level of support when you have other questions or problems.
